Chris Oomen

Diplom speech therapist since 1991 

I qualified in 1991 and work as a speech therapist in Germany and the Netherlands, since 1999 state recognized in Germany. I studied at the Hogeschool Eindhoven (NL) between 1987 - 1991. Paralell to my guidance as a speech therapist, I was working as a allround communication trainer for companies like Philips, ABN-Amro, Xerox and investigate several retail studies in sales customer relation managment. I did a Survey at Philips I & E Sales onto conflict management styles. From both, commercial and therapist experiences I developed my own therapie concept.

Anna Gernhold

B.Sc. NL 2016

After my vocational degree (Gymnasium) I worked during a year as a volontier (FSJ) on Hippotherapy. This after the concept of Bethel, Bodelschwinghsche Stiftungen Bethel in Bielefeld. In this context, I did an internship at the Mamre Patmos School, a special education of the v. Bodelschwinghschen Foundations Bethel, with the main focus on "mental" and "physical and motor development". Following to the FSJ, I studied speech therapy at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. I graduated in July 2016 with a Bachelor of Science. During my studies, I already worked in several different internships in two different speech therapy practices with different treatments. Since 01.09.2016 I am a german certified speech therapist working in the 'logopädische Praxis' Chris Oomen in Cologne.

Larissa Güleryüz

Academic speech therapist, University of Cologne 2023

In 2019, I graduated from Heinrich Böll Comprehensive School in the summer. I then began my studies as an academic speech therapist in November 2019, which I successfully completed in September 2023. My studies dealt with the different areas of speech therapy, which were Voice, speech and swallowing therapy. Among other things, I treated speech development disorders in children, dyslalia, aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, voice problems and stuttering.

I wrote my bachelor's thesis on the topic: “Psychosocial effects of the corona pandemic on people who stutter”.

 

Nina Ridderbecks

Speech therapist (BA), SI mototherapist, dance therapist (MA)

Diversity, precision in chosing targets, a holistic view and integrating art knowlegde characterise my work as a speech therapist. I work with a empathetic interest & open mind for patients and their opportunities to develop and learn regardless of age. Since 2016 I have been working freelance for the speech therapy practice Chris Oomen in the areas of voice therapy, stuttering and children's speech. I enjoy conducting therapies in both German and English.

Lilly

Since October 2022, the young Goldendoodle dog Lilly (now two years old) has accompanied Anna Gernhold in her daily work, if requested by the patients. From February to June 2024, they trained together as a therapy assistance dog team and successfully completed their training on 16.06.2024.
